Impact beats Haitian Select Team 6-0

Impact rookie Joel John Bailey was the man of the day with four goals, including three straight in a ten-minute span in the second half. Mauro Biello and Antonio Ribeiro also scored, while Andrew Olivieri and Gerry Argento shared the shutout.

The Select Team featured some of the best players of Haitian origin from Quebec and the United States, as well as up-and-coming players from the Haitian Football Federation national program.

The Impact, still undefeated in four games (3-0-1) since the start of the regular season, will resume A-League play next weekend. Montreal will be playing a home-and-home series against the Toronto Lynx. The two teams will first face off on Friday, May 28 at 7:30 pm at Claude Robillard Stadium (CJAD, CKAC), and again the next day at 6 pm in Toronto (CKAC). Both games will also count in Can-Am Cup standings.
