The Impact will square off against Lynn University

“So far it’s been positive because players are working very hard,” said Impact head coach Nick De Santis. “We have to be patient because there are many new players. There is still a lot of work to do but it’s always good to play exhibition games at a high level to get ready for the season. Against Lynn University we will mix the line-ups of the first and second half to allow some players to play 60 minutes.”

In its first two exhibition games, the Impact tied the Honduran national team 1-1, March 25, before losing 3-1 to the Rochester Raging Rhinos, Thursday afternoon. Impact forward Fabian Dawkins scored both goals for the Impact.

The Impact will play its fourth and last pre-season game in Florida, Tuesday April 3, against Miami FC.

The team will then return to Montreal to complete its preparation before kicking off its 2007 season in Atlanta, April 21, against the Silverbacks.
