Due to weather conditions and to avoid the degradation of the field at the Claude-Robillard Sports Complex, the game between the Impact U21 team and TFC Academy scheduled for today, at 2pm ET, will be played at Centre Sportif St-Jean-Vianney.

MONTREAL, Quebec – The Montreal Impact U21 (1-0-3) will try to keep its unbeaten streak intact as the team will face Toronto FC Academy on Sunday, at 2pm ET, at the Claude-Robillard Sports Complex.

The game is open to the general public and admittance is free of charge. Please keep in mind that in case of rain, there are covered seats at the stadium.

This will be the first time the U21s play at Claude-Robillard but it will be the third home game of the 2012 Canadian Soccer League season and fifth match overall.

Previous Matchups

The Impact is coming off of a two-games in two-days road trip that ended in a couple of 1-1 draws. The first came last Friday, versus SC Toronto, while the second was played a day later against Mississauga Eagles FC.

“Following a disappointing performance versus Mississauga, we now have an excellent opportunity for a better showing against another MLS Academy side,” said Impact U21 head coach Philippe Eullaffroy. “We need to show better technical quality on our side of the ball if we want to have a chance to win. The highest quality a player needs is to listen and analyze to correct his mistakes and grow. We hope to see players with character on the field Sunday.”

Forward Stefan Vukovic scored both goals for the Impact over the weekend in Toronto, joining Impact goal scoring leaders Maxim Tissot and Wandrille Lefevre with two goals each this season. Tissot and Vukovic also have an assist on their records, while forward Victor Ndiaye has tallied one goal and three assists.

Lefevre will be unavailable for the match as he is serving an automatic one-game suspension due to a red card versus SC Toronto. However, the Impact can count on the return of midfielder Kevin Luarca, who has been sidelined since the start of the season with an injury. Two U18 players, Yacine Ait-Slimane and Jérémy Gagnon-Laparé, are also expected to make their second appearances with the U21 squad.

More Toronto

This game is the second of a back-to-back Toronto matchup for the club, as the Impact first team is set to face off against TFC in a Reserve League game on Saturday, at 11am ET, at the Claude-Robillard Sports Complex. This game is also open to the public and entrance is free of charge.
