MONTREAL – The Montreal Impact announced on Wednesday that the club and Uruguayan forward Santiago Gonzalez have mutually agreed to part ways.
“We came to an agreement with Santiago, which now frees up an international spot for the season,” said Impact technical director Adam Braz. “Unfortunately, he had a difficult time adapting to the league and to our team. We feel it’s better to move on for his career and the club. We wish him the best in his future endeavours.”
