Stade Saputo MLS

MONTREAL - As the Montreal Impact inches closer to a playoff spot, the club announced on Friday details for playoff ticket sales.

A playoff pack will be available, which will include a ticket for all home games. The start of the sale of this package to the general public will be on Saturday, October 24 at 9am. For all details and advantages click here.

Members (season-ticket holders) will have access to an exclusive pre-sale for this playoff package, from Tuesday, October 20 at 9am to Thursday, October 22, at 10pm.

New members for 2016 can purchase their playoff packages on Thursday, October 22, from 9am to 10pm, while fans who bought mini-season packages in 2015 will benefit from a priority sale on Friday, October 23 from 9am to 10pm.

If the Impact plays a knockout playoff game at home on October 28 or 29, it will be possible to buy individual tickets for this match only after the final game of the regular season, to be played against Toronto FC on Sunday, October 25 at 5pm.

The Impact is currently in 6th place in the Eastern Conference, but can still finish in second spot. If the Impact finishes second, the team will have a bye directly to the Eastern Conference semifinals. If the team concludes the season in third or fourth place, there will be a playoff knockout game at Stade Saputo on Wednesday, October 28 or Thursday, October 29. Finally, if the Impact finishes fifth or sixth, that knockout game will be played on the road.

The Bleu-blanc-noir hopes to earn a playoff spot for a second time in just four seasons in MLS. The Impact qualified for the playoffs in 2013, after finishing fifth in the Eastern Conference.

The Impact will play its final game of the season on the road against the New England Revolution this Saturday, October 17, at 7:30 EDT (TSN, RDS, CJAD 800), and then finish its regular season against rivals Toronto FC at Stade Saputo on Sunday, October 25, at 5pm EDT (RDS, TSN, 98.5FM, TSN Radio 690).
