The Bleu-blanc-noir will work closely with the province’s amateur clubs

MONTREAL – The Montreal Impact announced on Wednesday the creation of its Scouting and Development Centre, a new high-level development program offered by the Bleu-blanc-noir to the province’s amateur clubs wanting to participate.

Under the responsibility of the club’s Academy, this new initiative offers complimentary training sessions to the participating amateur clubs given by Impact staff which follow the Academy’s pedagogy and methodology.

The program is offered to boys and girls wanting to experience what it’s like to train with a professional club.

In addition to training sessions, the Impact will also provide equipment, training jerseys, tickets to a Montreal Impact home game, a special event during the year and a collaboration between the amateur clubs’ coaches and the ones from the Impact Academy.

The Scouting and Development Centre shares the club’s values of strengthening the links with Quebec’s amateur soccer community, while allowing the Impact to widen its network of young players identified and followed by the club.
