MONTREAL – Midfielder Victor Wanyama was called up by Kenya’s national team.
He joined his selection for the African Cup of Nations qualification matches on November 11 and November 15 in a home and away series against Comoros.
After two games, Kenya is second of Group G with two points, behind Comoros who has four points.
Wanyama scored seven goals in 56 games with the Kenyan national team and is the captain of the selection since 2012. He made his senior debut in 2007, aged 15 years old. He started in three African Cup of Nations games in 2019 and took part in many qualification matches for the World Cup and the AFCON.
